This is a new trail, entirely on forest roads, its suitable for family use and contains no single track sections. The route follows the river valley past the old Gwynfynedd gold mines.
TEMTIWR TRAIL : distance 8.7km, climbing 170m, time 30min/1 hour, grade Moderate
A short route giving a taste of what to expect from Coed y Brenin, contains 5 sections of single track, graded as Moderate.
TARW TRAIL : distance 20.2km, climbing 460m, time 1.5 to 3 hours, grade DIFFICULT
Technically challenging, twisty rocky sections coupled with fast flowing descents, full of atmosphere.
